This Privacy Policy describes how Subscription Calendar ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

We believe in data minimization. Most of your data is stored securely in your personal iCloud container, which we cannot access. However, to provide our services, we process the following types of data:
A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymized User ID and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may hide your real email address by providing us with a private relay email address (e.g., dpdcnf87nu@privaterelay.appleid.com).
- Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We collect anonymous App User IDs and purchase history to validate your receipt and unlock premium features.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data about how you use the app (e.g., button taps, screen views) to improve user experience. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
- Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, operating system, and mobile network information.
C. Data Stored in iCloud (CloudKit)
Your financial entries, calendar data, and subscription details are stored in your personal iCloud private container.
- We do not have access to this data.
- It is encrypted and stored by Apple.
- It is synced across your devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- Process your subscription payments and unlock "Pro" features (via RevenueCat).
- Authenticate you and sync your account status (via Sign in with Apple).
- Send you local notifications about upcoming bills (these are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent to our servers).
3. Third-Party Services & Data Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. These services may process data on our behalf:
- RevenueCat: Used for subscription management and receipt validation.
- Data Collected: Purchase history, Anonymous App User ID.

- Apple (iCloud & Sign in with Apple): Used for data storage and authentication.
- Data Collected: Financial data (encrypted in iCloud), Name/Email (authentication).

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your personal data based on Contractual Necessity (to provide the App's core services) and Legitimate Interests (to improve the App and prevent fraud).

- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell your personal information. Therefore, we do not offer an "Opt-Out of Sale" mechanism.

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
- CloudKit Data: Retained as long as you keep it in your iCloud account. You can delete it at any time by deleting the App or managing your iCloud storage.
- Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat to validate your "Lifetime" or "Subscription" status.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
